Columbus Chill’s Grant Levins Signs with New York Dynamo of the NCDC
The Columbus Chill Hockey Club is proud to announce that standout forward Grant Levins has signed to play junior hockey with the New York Dynamo of the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC).
This marks a historic milestone for the Columbus Chill program, as Grant becomes the first player to sign directly from the Chill to an NCDC organization, a testament to his dedication, growth, and performance, as well as the continued development of high-level hockey talent within the Chill program.
Levins led the Columbus Chill 18U team to a remarkable 26-5 record, capturing the program’s first-ever Mid-Am Ohio State Championship and reaching the quarterfinals at the USA Hockey Tier II National Championships. Over 31 games, he paced the team offensively with 23 goals and 12 assists. Grant also capped off an outstanding senior season by leading Olentangy High School in scoring, racking up 32 goals and 18 assists, further cementing his status as one of the area’s top forwards.
Grant’s hockey journey began at the age of three, and by five, he started competing within the CAHA program. In 2017, he joined the AAA Ohio Blue Jackets at age 10, continuing his development at a high level. At the age of 15, Grant began his high school hockey career by joining the Olentangy High School varsity team while also competing with the Columbus Chill pre/post program.
Now, Grant takes the next step in his hockey journey, heading to New York to join a respected NCDC organization committed to player advancement and development. We are thrilled for what lies ahead and will be cheering him on as he continues to chase his goals at the next level.
Congratulations & good luck, Grant!
