The Columbus Chill 67's opened the 2026 pre/post season tournament play in impressive fashion by capturing the Columbus National Bound Kickoff 16U Silver Division Championship after a strong weekend of hockey against quality competition from across the region.

The 67's finished round-robin play with a 2-1 record, earning victories over Georgia's Hockey Academy (5-2) and the Cleveland Crusaders 15U AA (8-2). Their lone setback came in a tightly contested 2-1 battle against the Cincinnati Cyclones, a game that foreshadowed an exciting championship rematch.

Advancing to the semifinals, the Chill squared off once again with Georgia's Hockey Academy. Columbus delivered one of its most complete performances of the tournament, skating away with a convincing 7-2 victory to earn a spot in the championship game.
