Chill Golden Seals Win Championship at Grinder Grand Rapids Goblin Tournament

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — The Columbus Chill Golden Seals capped off an incredible weekend with a championship victory at the Grinder Grand Rapids Goblin Tournament, finishing with a perfect 5–0 record and outscoring opponents by a commanding margin.

The Seals set the tone early in round robin play, posting decisive wins over the Livonia Knights (9–3), Black Aces (5–1), and Michigan Elite White (3–1) to secure the tournament’s top seed heading into the playoffs.

In semifinal action, the Golden Seals once again faced Michigan Elite, earning a hard-fought 5–3 win to advance to the championship game. The final was a statement performance, as the Seals shut out BRPD 3–0 to claim the Goblin Tournament title.

Congratulations to Head Coach Gianni Evangelisti and Assistant Coach Dan Singleton on leading the team to another impressive championship.

The victory in Grand Rapids marks the second tournament title of the season for the Golden Seals and a fitting conclusion to an outstanding fall campaign filled with teamwork, skill development, and consistency.
